Classical Soprano

Elizabeth studied Music at City University, with Violin and Singing as her joint principal studies taught at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She received regular tuition at the GSMD including 4 years of vocal studies with Professor Ian Kennedy. Since graduating, Elizabeth has gained very broad performance experience as both a Soprano Soloist and Ensemble member on the Oratorio and Concert platforms, and in staged Operatic Scenes.

Elizabeth moved to Jersey, Channel Islands in 2008 where she continued her professional training with Professor Jane Highfield (former singing professor at the RAM and GSMD) , and Gitte-Maj Donoghue. She gained her ATCL in 2017 with distinction. She continued to perform locally as well as establishing her own singing teaching practice for adults and children both privately and at Jersey College for Girls. She is an experienced accompanist, regularly playing for her students as well as for Masterclasses with her daughter who is currently studying singing at the Royal Northern College of Music. She has adjudicated several Singing Festivals, and in Spring 2020 was accepted to train as an Examiner for ABRSM
